A card game for your thoughts

Not a chatbot. Not therapy. Not an AI.

You bring one thing on your mind. The game deals cards that show you different angles. You do the thinking.

The map is not the territory

Every perspective is a projection — like flattening a globe onto a map. Useful, but missing a dimension.

The poles are extremes: us vs them, all or nothing, black hole or supernova. The equator is the perspective that holds true from every angle.

This game helps you find the equator.

The six mirrors

Each is a different lens. You get 3 random ones per round.
You don't pick — they're dealt. Surprise is part of it.

What this is
A quiet, offline playground for reflection. A card game for your thoughts, a breathing screen, postcards for memories, and a vault to keep them in. One HTML file. Free, open source, built by ERRERlabs.
You can tell the room how you're arriving and it retunes its colors and pace. The optional music (♪) is a handful of soft notes generated on your device as you listen — there are no recordings, no files, and nothing streamed.
Why it's made
Slowing down with a thought, breathing on purpose, and telling the story of a memory are old, ordinary, human practices. Most digital versions of them come with an account, a subscription, and a data pipeline. This one comes with none of those. That's the whole idea.
What we think it's good for
A few quiet minutes. A second angle on a stuck thought. A slower breath. A memory written down in someone's own words while they can still tell it.
And what it is not: not therapy, not counseling, not a medical device, not a diagnostic tool, and not AI. Every word here was written by hand; nothing reads or analyzes what you write. We claim no health benefits. If reflective writing stirs up more than you want to carry alone, stop, and consider talking to someone you trust or a professional.
If you are in crisis
This app cannot detect crisis and will not pretend it can. These resources are here, on every screen, instead.
Your privacy
Nothing you write ever leaves this device. No server, no accounts, no cookies, no analytics, no AI, no network connections. Your reflections live in this browser's local storage, controlled entirely by you.
Verify it: open your browser's developer tools and watch the network tab. It stays empty.
One honest caveat: local storage belongs to your browser. Clearing browser data will erase your entries. If something matters, export it below.

A note on breathing
The breathing screen is an invitation, not an instruction — you set the pace and you can stop anytime. Slow or held breathing can make some people lightheaded. If that happens, just breathe normally. Don't use paced breathing while driving or anywhere you need your balance.
Your data
Export creates a file on your device — nothing is uploaded, because there is nowhere to upload to. Delete removes every entry from this browser, permanently. We can't recover it, because we never had it.
Pass it on
The best way to support this is to hand it to someone who needs a quiet room.
Sharing uses your device's own share sheet or clipboard. The app itself still sends nothing, to anyone, ever.
